Dan Gardner, a middle school teacher here in Newton, is running the Boston Marathon this year to raise funds for the Newton 9-11 Memorial! Please visit his website here. Although the Memorial is finished, funds are needed for maintenance and upkeep of the Memorial and the surrounding garden.

The Paige Farley-Hackel Memorial Playground in Dorchester remembers one of the Newton residents killed on September 11. On Saturday, September 10, there will be a great evening of music to raise money for the playground. Please check it out! For more information visit here.
Please join us on Sunday, September 11 at 6pm at the Newton 9-11 Memorial on Centre Steet for a remembrance of those lost in the September 11 attacks.
