Donations will be used to fund the construction of the memorial and to fund an endowment for the memorial’s ongoing care and maintenance.
The Newton 9-11 Memorial Committee, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt public charity. Per IRS regulations, donations made to the Committee are deductible under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code. Here is our IRS 501(c)(3) Determination Letter for those who need it.
We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under secion 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.
